Exhaust Silencers
ENEVA exhaust silencers are acoustic engineering solutions designed to control the noise generated by high-flow and high-temperature exhaust gases from gas engines, gas turbines, diesel generators, blowers, and process stacks—without negatively affecting equipment performance. Noise control is not only an environmental requirement but also a critical factor for occupational safety, equipment lifespan, and compliance with regulations.
- Effective attenuation of both high and low frequency noise
- Design suitable for exhaust gas temperatures up to 600 °C
- Optimized low back pressure for equipment
- Mechanical design suitable for heavy industrial conditions
WHAT IS AN EXHAUST SILENCER?
Exhaust silencers are specialized equipment used to reduce the acoustic energy generated by gases discharged to the atmosphere from engines or process equipment.
ENEVA exhaust silencers operate based on:
- Reactive
- Absorptive
- Combined (reactive + absorptive)
silencing principles. This ensures effective suppression of both low-frequency engine noise and high-frequency flow-induced sounds.
- Flow is directed in a controlled manner through internal geometries
- Sound energy is attenuated by reactive chambers and absorptive materials
- Design ensures target noise reduction without exceeding allowable back pressure limits
- Silencer diameter and length are determined based on exhaust gas flow rate, temperature, and target noise level
- Cogeneration and trigeneration plants
- Gas engines (natural gas, biogas, landfill gas)
- Gas turbines
- Diesel generator sets
- Marine and heavy-duty engines
- High-noise process stacks
- Compressor or blower intake applications
