Wet Scrubbers and Stacks
ENEVA wet scrubber systems are specially designed gas treatment equipment that remove dust, acidic gases, and harmful emissions from boilers or industrial processes by using a liquid phase. When required, neutralization of pollutants is also performed within the system. Controlling emissions from solid fuel and fuel-oil systems is critical for both environmental compliance and the protection of plant equipment.
- Removal of dust and gas emissions
- Capture and neutralization of acidic components
- Protection of stacks and equipment against corrosion
- Compliance with environmental regulations
WHAT IS A WET SCRUBBER?
Wet scrubbers are gas treatment systems in which particles and gaseous pollutants in flue gas or process gas are removed by contacting them with a liquid.
- Capture of dust particles
- Absorption of acidic gases such as SO₂ and HCl
- Control of gas temperature and volume
ENEVA wet scrubbers are specifically designed according to process conditions.
- Controlled introduction of contaminated gas into the scrubber body
- Contact between gas and sprayed or circulated liquid phase
- Retention of particles and soluble gases in the liquid phase
- Discharge of treated gas to the stack
- Transfer of generated liquid to treatment or recirculation systems
The system design considers emission limits together with the safe operation of fan and stack systems.
